Mussels & Kelp

Mussels + Kelp are plentiful around Vaughn Island off the coast of Cape Porpoise, Maine. as a child, we used to scrape the mussels off the rocks at low tide and wrap ourselves in sugar kelp, pretending to be mermaids and sea creatures. It was a wonderful memory. Now the Island is a preserve, open to all to explore - as colorful and full of life as ever.

The original was crafted with Japanese Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor on Cold Press 100% Cotton Paper. Your print will be on 100% cotton paper with archival inks.
